Position Title: Music & Media Licensing Manager
Duties and responsibilities:
SBS has an exciting opportunity for a Music & Media Licensing Manager.
Duties and responsibilities include, among other things:
• clearance of music and media licensing (TV, radio, internet, concerts and more), synchronization rights, performance rights, blanket rights, public domain rights, master use license, etc..;
• overseeing the music & media licensing coordinator;
• liaison between legal department and third parties, including producers, labels, clients, ect.;
• fostering relationships with performance societies (ie ASCAP, BMI, SESAC) and with publishers and record labels;
• responsible for licensing and program license agreements;
• design and conduct training seminars for producers relating to various production issues, such as music rights, intellectual property rights, on-air promotions, clip licensing and others;
• managing and coordinating the music licensing, clearances, libraries and related transactions;
• collaborating with the music programming team to ensure compliance;
• acquire master use and synchronization rights for exploitation in connection with the network programming on various media platforms;
• work closely with in-house and producers in connection with programming about or including music and licensing projects;
• negotiate transactions with music licensors, including analyzing of license agreements, administering blanket license agreements, fulfilling reporting obligations to performance rights societies, and the like.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years experience in rights clearance;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, notably Word, Excel;
• demonstrated multi-genre music knowledge; strong organizational skills, attention to process and detail; ability to multi-task, hit repeated deadlines;
• demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently; demonstrate ability to take responsibility, exercise excellent judgment under pressure, show initiative, and work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, demanding, fast-paced office environment; strong problem solving orientation and skills necessary.

Position Title: Broadcast Systems Engineer - MEGA T.V.
We are currently seeking candidates with a background in Studio production, Broadcast systems integration and networking, Satellite and fiber distribution and coordination, Server based automated delivery platforms and Non-linear editing systems (Avid and Final Cut Pro). Educational requirements: Minimum 2 year technical degree or comparable broadcast experience; Factory certifications or SBE certification a plus. Ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and have the ability to work independently and quickly in high-pressure situations.
Other requirements:
Minimum 5 years broadcast systems and technical maintenance

Position Title: Sales Assistant
Job Description: Essential duties include, but are not limited to, supporting Sales Manager and several Account Managers in all areas of the sales process including: typing proposals, memos, letters, filing, research, database management, writing production orders, assisting in writing and inputting sales orders, client follow-up. Position also backs up Continuity Manager in coordinating and processing radio copy. Requires excellent time management skills, prioritizing, attention to detail, deadlines and ability to proactively seek out and implement improved office processes and procedures as needed.
