Position Summary
As General Manager employee shall represent the Company to the best of Employee’s ability. This is an upper management level position responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the radio and local sales of the markets’ operations assigned to Employee.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing the design, growth and operation of the Radio operations by managing and servicing local and national metro area radio advertising Account Executives and Managers
- In conjunction with the EVP of Programming, developing and securing successful programming and content for distribution for the Radio Market assigned to Employee
- Increasing local sales
- Creating, establishing, meeting exceeding sales goals for local sales for the assigned markets as may be set forth by the Company from time to time
- Taking all reasonable and necessary steps to protect the Station’s broadcast licenses
- Using his best reasonable efforts to make the Company the market-leader
- Attend to all other managerial and operational services that are customarily rendered by persons engaged in the same or a similar capacity in the radio and entertainment industry and such other services as the Company may reasonable require from time to time

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- At least 5-7 years of Broadcasting experience
- Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills.
- Have the ability to function well in a fast-‐paced environment that often includes multiple, concurrent projects.
- Possess exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal, to communicate with internal teams and clients.
- Working in a fast-‐paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and social networking (spreadsheets, presentation software)
- Excellent writing skills in both English and Spanish
- Extensive knowledge of the digital media platforms and sales technologies
- Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and schedules.
- Client focused, supporting a number of concurrent initiatives.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions to perform this job successfully.
Physical Requirements
Work involves exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
