Position Summary
Mega TV is seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer with expertise in Camera Shading and Lighting to join our production team. This full-time position involves ensuring the highest quality of video production through precise camera adjustments, lighting setups, and technical support. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in broadcast engineering, camera operation, and lighting techniques, and will work closely with the production team to create visually stunning content that meets our broadcast standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Camera Shading: Adjust and maintain camera settings, including color balance, exposure, and contrast, to ensure consistent and high-quality video output.
- Collaborate with camera operators and directors to achieve the desired visual look for live broadcasts and recorded programs.
- Monitor camera feeds during production to make real-time adjustments as necessary.
- Lighting: Design and implement lighting setups for various types of productions, including studio shows, live broadcasts, and special events.
- Select appropriate lighting equipment and accessories and ensure proper placement to enhance the visual quality of the production.
- Maintain and troubleshoot lighting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Technical Support: Provide engineering support for all broadcast and production equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cameras, lighting, and other production equipment.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of production environments, including equipment rigging and cable management.
- Work closely with directors, producers, camera operators, and other technical staff to ensure seamless production operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to anticipate and address potential technical challenges during production.
- Perform regular maintenance on cameras, lighting, and other production equipment to ensure longevity and reliability.
- Keep detailed records of equipment settings, adjustments, and maintenance activities

Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in broadcast engineering, camera operation, and lighting within a television production environment.

- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, as production schedules require.
- Certification or training in broadcast engineering or related fields is preferred.
