Position Summary
Mega TV is seeking a talented and experienced Full-Time Makeup Artist to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the entertainment industry, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to enhance the appearance of on-air talent, guests, and other individuals featured in our programming. The Makeup Artist will play a crucial role in ensuring that all on-screen personalities look their best, aligning with the overall visual style of Mega TV.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply makeup to on-air talent, guests, and other individuals appearing on Mega TV programs, ensuring they look polished and camera-ready.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and other members of the production team to determine the appropriate look for each individual, taking into account the show’s format, lighting, and theme
- Perform touch-ups and adjustments as needed during filming to maintain consistency in appearance throughout the broadcast.
- Select and maintain makeup products, ensuring a wide range of shades and products suitable for all skin tones and types.
- Clean and sanitize makeup tools and products in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Keep up to date with the latest makeup trends, techniques, and products, and incorporate them into the work as appropriate.
- Manage time efficiently to accommodate multiple individuals and tight production schedules.
- Assist in the creation of special effects makeup when required for specific programming needs.

Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as a makeup artist in television, film, or a similar entertainment environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in makeup application for various skin tones and styles.
- Excellent knowledge of makeup products, techniques, and trends.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with on-air talent and production staff.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, as production schedules dictate.
- Certification from a recognized cosmetology or makeup artistry school is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods during makeup application.
- Manual dexterity and a steady hand for precise makeup application.
- Ability to lift and carry makeup kits and equipment.
